TUCSON - You may have seen black smoke rising over Davis-Monthan Air Force Base this morning; officials have confirmed it was from a fire at a nearby recycling facility.

Rural-Metro Fire crews responded to a fire at a recycling facility near Drexel and Wilmot, just east of D-M. Some metal parts and rubber were burning, officials from Tucson Fire confirmed.

News 4 crews at the scene say the fire has been extinguished, and fire crews have left the area.
