TUCSON- An early morning fight at the Disabled American Veterans building on South Wilmot, left a 35-year-old male dead.
According to Tucson Police Sargeant Chris Widmer, police were called to 3455 S. Wilmot around 12:30 Saturday morning. Upon arrival they found James Braun suffering from serious injuries. He was transported to the hospital, where he passed away.
Police say the fight involved a large number of people and spilled out into the parking lot.
Gang detectives are on-scene continuing the investigation.
Several subjects were detained at a separate location, but detectives are trying to figure out their involvement in the fight. Detectives are interviewing multiple witnesses at the scene.
