Feeling like Fall...for now

TUCSON - For the first time since April 15th, the Old Pueblo will see a daytime high below 80 degrees.

A departing cold front leaves behind a cool airmass, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Expect partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 70's across Metro Tucson this afternoon. Skies clear tonight, with the thermometer dropping into the 40's and 50's. Mountaintops and the Sulphur Springs Valley of Cochise County may wake up to the 30's by Saturday morning.

After another 70 degree day tomorrow afternoon, the heat begins to build. High pressure develops over the eastern Pacific next week. This brings a return of above average warmth, with low 90's in the forecast starting Monday. Ample sunshine prevails this weekend and early next week.
