TUCSON - The FBI is asking for the public's help in identifying an unknown man who may be able to provide information regarding the sexual exploitation of a child.

According to an FBI news release, the unknown man can be seen in photographs that surfaced on the internet depicting a prepubescent female, approximately 10 years old, posing naked in sexually-explicit positions. The man can be seen in the picture witnessing the child's activity from a nearby bed. The FBI says these photographs have been circulated and/or traded as child pornography on various illegal internet forums.

Investigators enhanced the background of one of these photographs and identified what appears to be a child's drinking cup from the QuikTrip chain of gas stations, leading them to believe these photographs were likely taken before November 2005 in one of 13 U.S. cities where QuikTrip stores are located, which includes Tucson.

A baseball cap with what could be the logo of a local sports team, and the partial image of what appears to be a phone book can also be seen in the enhanced images, and investigators believe these could also be clues to the location of the endangered child.

The man's identity and current whereabouts are unknown. Investigators say he appears to be a white man between the ages of 55 and 65 with brown eyes, gray hair, and a full bear and mustache.

"The public is reminded that no charges have been filed in this case and the pictured individual is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law," FBI officials stated.
