Expect construction delays on Tucson's south side

TUCSON - Crews on the city's south side will begin work on new bike lanes Thursday.
Valencia Road from the Santa Cruz River to 12th Avenue will be hydroblasted and restriped. So will Ajo Way from Valley Road to 6th Avenue and through the Interstate 10 interchange.
Crews will begin at 6 a.m. on March 21, 2013. The work is expected to be finished in approximately five weeks.
Those traveling in the work areas should expect delays.
