PHOENIX - Kristi's Kids got word tonight, from Arizona Senator Linda Lopez, that SB-1421 has been signed into law. This frees all Arizona schools from possible liability should they choose to keep stock epinephrine on campus for a surprise allergic reaction.
Kristi's Kids has been following this measure since it was introduced.
This will get life-saving ephinephrine into a child's system much quicker than the conventional vial and syringe.
Again, this is not a mandate for schools to carry stock epi pens. This just frees them from liability.
