TUCSON - Around midnight on Monday, Tina Palomares was watching television when she heard her garage door open.
She quickly ran to the garage, but it was too late. Her two English Bulldogs, Ruffles and Cookie, were gone.
"I just want to make sure that they are protected, that their doing good, and that they are not hurt," said Palomares.
Palomares said these types of dogs don't run cheap. She bought both dogs for around 3 thousand dollars each and has raised both of them since they were puppies.
"They are always happy to see you regardless if you get mad at them they are next to you," said Palomares.
According to the Pima County Sheriffs Office, officials are beginning an investigation to bring the dogs back home.
And Palomares says she isn't giving up and wants these thieves brought to justice.
"I'm a true believer of what goes around comes around but I just want them back," said Palomares.
If you have any information on both dogs, you are urged to call the Pima County Sheriff's Office.
