TUCSON - Empire Beauty Schools hosted a National Day of Beauty to support victims of domestic abuse on Saturday.
Empire Beauty Schools opened its doors to women, men and children for haircuts, coloring, nail services and more. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the beauty services benefitted local domestic violence shelters in Tucson. Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse is one local shelter receiving the donations.
To date, Empire Gives Back and the National Day of Beauty program has raised more than $500,000 in cash and donations to support local shelters, and aid in the fight against domestic violence.
