TUCSON - Emerge! Center against Domestic Abuse has been selected as one of the top 50 Best Nonprofit Organizations of the year, which was published in the April 2013 issue of The Nonprofit Times.
Emerge! was rated 26 out of 50 in general, and 14 out of 27 in the medium sized association category.
The principle of Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse is to offer a safe environment and resource center for victims and survivors who have been abused and are working to emotionally, physically, and mentally heal. Emerge! also maneuvers two emergency shelters in addition to providing crisis intervention, personal and group support, life skills expansion, prevention, a childcare center as well as education.
