TUCSON - Several Sun Tran bus routes will be detoured, and several bus stops will be discontinued tomorrow due to the El Tour de Tucson bike race event.

Temporary detours will begin at 5 a.m. Saturday, November 17, on Routes 3, 5, 7, 8, 16, 21, 22, 34 and 37, and will continue until about 7 p.m., according to a news release from Sun Tran.

Multiple bus stops will be closed, with signs posted at the affected tops directing passengers to alternate boarding locations, the release states. Passengers should not that the list of closed stops may be adjusted throughout the day to accommodate the race.
