A nearby witness said he heard six shots total.

Several men were fighting when the shots were fired, Dugan said.

The fight began in front of the Days Inn Suites in the 1400 block of South Craycroft Road and escalated further to the parking lot at the nearby Circle K , Dugan said. The man who was shot died in front of the Title Bucks near Domino's.

A witness at the scene who didn't want to be identified said he tried to save the victim's life.
