TUCSON - The deadline to mail in an early voting ballot in Pima County is Thursday, November 1, according to the Pima County Recorder's Office, and several early voting sites will be open Saturday.
There are currently 10 early voting sites open this week around Tucson and the surrounding area, stated Pima County Recorder F. Ann Rodriguez in a news release. Several of these sites will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. They are:
-The Recorder's Office in Downtown Tucson, Old Pink County Court House
-The Recorder's East Side Office located at Broadway and Kolb
-North Side located in a modular in the parking lot of the YWCA, located at Shannon and Thornydale
-Mid-Town, Sacred Heart Church located at Fort Lowell and First Ave
-South Side Recorder's Office at Valencia and County Club.
After Saturday, only the Pima County Recorder's main office at 115 North Church Avenue will be open on Monday.
"After that, voters will need to go to their assigned polling location to vote the day of the Election," Rodriguez stated.
The Recorder's Office highly recommends that voters get their early ballot in the mail no later than Thursday, November 1, to ensure that it arrives in time for Election Day on November 6.
