TUCSON- The Southern Arizona DUI Task Force made 61 DUI related arrests during their weekend enforcement.

Three people were arrested for felony DUI and another 58 were arrested for misdemeanor DUI.

Seventy-three officers were deployed over the weekend crackdown, making over 2200 contacts with drivers.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department set-up a DUI checkpoint on the northwest side Saturday evening.

They will have two more DUI checkpoints throughout the holiday season.

The DUI Task Force reported 23 designated drivers during their contacts.
