TUCSON - Two explosions in a midtown home has prompted police to evacuate several surrounding homes in the area, Tucson Police said.
911 operators received a call from a resident of the house to report that there had been an explosion in the house just after 1 p.m., Tucson Police spokesman Sgt. Chris Widmer said. Some of the windows of the house had blown out.
Tucson Fire's hazmat and explosive disposal teams responded to the house in the 3900 block of North Pamona-- near Roger and Flowing Wells. One person suffered minor burns from the incident, Widmer added. The house had three residents inside the home at the time.
Police say the incident was drug related by stopped short on specifics.
