Driver rescued from south side intersection

TUCSON- Rural/Metro Fire rescued a driver from a stalled vehicle in a flooded intersection Tuesday morning.

According to RMFD Captain Grant Cesarek, crews were dispatched to the intersection of Drexel Road and County Club Road at 9:40 a.m. for a stalled vehicle with a trapped driver.

When crews arrived, they found water running above the rear bumper of the car, Cesarek said.

A crew of four made their way to the car and assisted the driver to dry ground.

Nobody was injured during the rescue.
