The Department of Public Safety is investigating five separate collisions in the Casa Grande-Eloy area along Interstate 10.
DPS says one of the five collisions involved two confirmed fatalities from a small SUV that drove into another vehicle. A third person in that vehicle sustained serious injuries and was transported by helicopter to a Phoenix-area hospital.
At this hour, DPS does not have a confirmed number of injured or vehicles involved in the five collisions.
DPS says winds have slowed down, but there is still blowing dust and poor visibility in the area. Both east and westbound travel lanes on I-10 between Milepost 190 to 216 in the area of Casa Grande-Eloy are opened.
The National Weather Service has advised another storm front will be moving into the area which may create the same conditions experienced Saturday, with strong winds, heavy blowing dust and poor to zero visibility through Sunday afternoon.
