TUCSON - After an active Tuesday, the atmosphere is in recovery mode.
Sinking air & a lack of energy leads to a few isolated storms today, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Storms will be more miss than hit, but may still be capable of heavy rainfall. Tucson reaches the low 90's today, which is nearly 10° below average for early July.
Storm chances tick up a little for Thursday and Friday, as the atmosphere should begin to destabilize again. A mid-level disturbance is pegged to move in from the east this weekend, bringing a better chance of scattered thunderstorms.
