DOUGLAS, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a Douglas man has been arrested in a child molestation case.

The Cochise County Sheriff's Office says 59-year-old Manuel Salcido was taken into custody Tuesday.

Sheriff's deputies say an 11-year-old girl claimed she was a molestation victim and Salcido was interviewed in connection with the case.

They say Salcido has been booked into the Cochise County Jail on suspicion of two counts of sexual conduct with a minor and two counts of child molestation.

Salcido is being held without bond. Sheriff's officials didn't immediately know whether he has a lawyer yet for his case.
