TUCSON- Tucson dog lovers are invited to bring their well-mannered, leashed dogs to this year's Dogtoberfest for Handi-Dogs.
The event will be on October 28 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at St. Gregory School on 3231 N. Craycroft Rd.
Tickets are $5 (dogs and children under 12 are free) All the earnings will go directly to Handi-Dogs, a non-profit organization that helps seniors and people with disabilities on training their dogs to become service and/or therapeutic help.
This year's Dogtoberfest will include fun activities for people and their dogs to do together such as: dog painting pictures, an obstacle course, nose work games, and much more! There will also be entertainment with a dancing dog show and live music from Crystal Ridge Bluegrass Band, along with a raffle, food, and drinks, including a beer garden.
There will also be ten different contests, including Best Dog Costume, Best Trick, Person/Dog Look-a-Like and Best Dog Kiss.
