PHOENIX - The Arizona Diamondbacks have teamed up with The Phoenix Allergy Network and The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network for two games especially designed for fans with food allergies. The first game is Sunday, May 23 at 1:10 pm.
The Diamondbacks have allocated party suites that will offer a "Peanut-Controlled" environment for families of children with food allergies to enjoy the excitement of D-backs baseball without having to worry about the fear of a serious allergen hampering the fun.
The cost for peanut-controlled suites is $25 (seats are limited).
The two games designated as Peanut-Controlled are as follows:
Sunday, May 23, 2010 - D-backs Ball & Bat Set (5,000 12 & younger)
1:10 pm D-backs vs. Toronto Bluejays
Sunday, August 22, 2010 - Back-to-School Backpack (5,000 12 & younger)
1:10 pm D-backs vs. Colorado Rockies
The games are in a suite that has been cleaned especially for these events. Participants will sign a waiver stating they will not bring peanuts/peanut products into the suite.
Children 2 and under get in free to these designated events.
