Detectives seeking help in identifying carjacking suspect

TUCSON - The Pima County Sheriff's Department is asking for your help in identifying a carjacking suspect.

On June 16, at 12:49 a.m., deputies responded to the intersection of South Alvernon Way and East Ajo Way in reference to a man down.

According to deputies, the man lying on the ground was the victim of a carjacking. Jeffrey Lenckus,23, had been at the Golden Nugget bar and had been introduced to five individuals there. Four of those individuals got into Lenckus' car, with the victim in the back passenger seat.

When the driver stopped in a parking lot, one suspect had a firearm and threatened to harm the victim if he did not get out of the car.

The suspects took Lenckus' wallet and other personal belongings and then chased the victim with the car after he got out.

Lenckus was able to run away and did not sustain any serious injuries.

Three of the suspects involved have been identified and charged on the following charges:

• Bryson Patterson,16, three counts of Aggravated Assault, two counts of Armed Robbery, two counts of Aggravated Robbery, and two counts of Theft of Means of Transportation

• Ricky Boykin,37, one count of Armed Robbery, one count of Aggravated Robbery, two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and one count of Theft of Means of Transportation

• Priscilla Hamilton,42, one count of Armed Robbery, one count of Aggravated Robbery, and two counts of Unlawful Use of Means of Transportation

The remaining suspect is still at large and has been known to hang around with Bryson Patterson near the Tucson Inn. The remaining suspect is described as a Hispanic man and was last seen wearing a T-shirt with an image on the front.
