TUCSON - Detectives want help identifying people who they say started a fight at a Flowing Wells bar.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. February 17 at the Outlaw Saloon near Roger and Flowing Wells Roads.
There were 3 victims and about a half dozen suspects, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
A 21-year-old man was hurt so badly he had to be taken to the hospital before deputies arrived. His 40-year-old mom and a 45-year-old friend were also hurt, according to PCSD.
All of the suspects fled, according to PCSD.
Deputy Tom Peine with the Sheriff's Department says the men and women who started the fight are dangerous.
"When you look at an attack that is that vicious," Peine said, "where people just randomly get involved, it's something that we need to get a handle on it."
A woman who saw part of the fight says that type of thing does not happen at that bar. She did not want to be identified.
"It's a very happy place," she said. "Everybody gets along. There's never any problems. There's no violence. It's a neighborhood bar. Everybody knows everybody."
