Deputies search for an armed robbery suspect on the southside

TUCSON - The Pima County Sherriff's Deputies are searching for an armed robbery suspect.

According to Chief Deputy Chris Nanos, the suspect went into the Family Dollar located at 2820 West Los Reales Road Sunday evening, pointed a weapon at the clerk, and demanded money. The clerk gave the suspect an undetermined amount of cash and he ran from the store towards the Circle K next door.

He was last seen leaving from behind the Circle K on the back of a white ATV driven by a male wearing a red shirt.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, 5 feet 6 inches tall, in his late 30's to early 40's.

He was wearing a brown shirt, khaki shorts, khaki ball cap and sunglasses.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
