ARIZONA CITY - Pinal County authorities say they briefly encountered an Arizona City man involved in a gunbattle Monday night with deputies.

The sheriff's office says deputies attempted to stop Jose Sandoval in Arizona City Tuesday evening after he was spotted driving his 2003 Ford Mustang Coup.

Deputies chased then terminated the pursuit because of the unsafe manner in which the suspect was driving.

The Mustang is registered to Sandoval and has an Arizona License Plate of LMO-6651.

The vehicle is either blue or teal and has 18 to 20 inch chrome rims with a spare tire on the right rear.

Sandoval is considered armed and dangerous.
