CIBECUE, Ariz.- A new 40-acre fire is burning in the White Mountains near the community of Cibecue.
The Dehose Fire was first reported Monday evening and is burning within the the Rodeo-Chediski burn area.
Firefighters are working to build fire lines, as red flag conditions are in effect for the Fort Apache Indian Reservation with high winds and low relative humidity forecasted until 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Currently there are two Type 2 crews, six engines, along with one helicopter and three heavy air attack planes are working the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The Rodeo-Chediski fire burned more than 468,000 acres and destroyed 481 structures in the summer of 2002.
