KINGMAN - The Dean Peak Fire is now 90 percent contained and crews are continuing the progress.
Pine Lake and Pinion Pines residents have returned home and engines, hotshot crews and helicopters are being released for new fire assignments.
As of Monday night, the Kingman Field Office of the Colorado River District of the Bureau of Land Management will manage the fire again.
The following areas have been closed due to threats to public safety: east of DW Ranch Road, north of Hualapai Mountain Road, north of Hualapai Mountain County Park, north of the Pine Lake Community, north of Wheeler Wash Road, west of Blake Ranch Road and south of Old Highway 93.
