TUCSON - If you'd like to vote in the upcoming November election, the deadline to register is rapidly approaching.
The November 5, 2013 Elections include the City of Tucson General Election, an incorporation measure in Vail, as well as elections in three area school districts: Altar Valley School District, Catalina Foothills Unified School District, and Sunnyside Unified School District.
The cut-off to register to vote in these upcoming elections is midnight, MONDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2013.
If you are not sure you are registered to vote, please the recorders' office at (520) 724-4330 to confirm your registration.
A new voter registration form must be completed by anyone who has moved (even to a new apartment number in the same complex), changed their name since their last registration, is a new Pima County resident, or would like to change their party affiliation.
Forms may be obtained at the Pima County Recorder's office, any Arizona Department of Motor Vehicle branch, all post offices and libraries, political party headquarters, and city/town halls.
Voters may also log onto the Recorder's office web site and download a form to complete and mail in, or click on the link called "EZVOTER" for the online Motor Vehicle Division voter registration system.
Out-of-town residents may call 1-800-775-7462 and ask for extension 4330.
