Creepy evidence points police to suspect

GLENDALE - The creepiest thing lurking in the Glendale Police Evidence Storage room isn't a ghost or zombie, but a frozen finger.

Glendale police recovered a severed finger from the scene of an attempted theft on October 7.

A man called police after his work truck, which had large spools of copper wiring attached, was tampered with. The wiring stretched out about 20 feet and at the end was a surprise, a portion of a finger.

Forensic Techs revealed the severed finger belonged to 29-year-old Joshua Allen Goverman. He even posted a picture of his hand, missing the finger, on Facebook. Goverman was booked into the Glendale City Jail for a Class 1 misdemeanor charge of theft.
