TUCSON - A crash on I-10 and 22nd St. sent two people to the hospital Wednesday evening.
Tucson Fire tells News 4 a vehicle that was traveling eastbound had two patients in the vehicle and both had serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle was pinned underneath the dash area and needed to be cut out by the Jaws of Life. The driver was freed from the vehicle and also transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Two people were in the other vehicle involved in the accident. They were assessed on scene and did not want to be transported to the hospital.
