TUCSON - Triple digit temps return as Monsoon storms fade away.
High pressure off the southern California coast draws in dry air, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. This feature helps boost temperatures to the upper 90's and 100's across the metro this afternoon.
Plenty of sunshine is on tap for the upcoming Labor Day Weekend. Tucson should threaten the 100° mark tomorrow through Sunday.
Models indicate Monsoon moisture may return to the International Border the middle of next week, leading to a few isolated storms. Most of southern Arizona looks dry over the next 7 days.
