As an attorney for Bogutz & Gordon, P.C., Craig Wisnom regularly handles the legal problems faced by seniors and their families. His clients are the families and individuals who are confronting the issues of aging, disability, death, and are concerned about making the best long term planning decisions for themselves and those who may be dependent upon them.
Craig is a Certified Specialist in Estate & Trust Law by the State Bar of Arizona. He is a Tucson native who has practiced law for 12 years in Arizona in the areas of estate planning, estate and gift taxation, probate and trust administration.
A former Chair of the State Bar Probate & Trust Section and the State Bar's Estate and Trust Advisory Committee for Specialization, Craig has also served on the Non-Uniform Laws Drafting Subcommittee. Craig also serves on the Board of Directors of the Southern Arizona Estate Planners Council, and is active in developing and presenting continuing legal education programs.
In 2008, Craig was the recipient of the State Bar of Arizona's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Award for his outstanding contributions to educate Arizona's attorneys throughout their careers.
Not only is Craig a contributor to the KVOA News 4 at 4:00 program, he is also a writer, as evidenced by his award winning and humorous combination of law and swords-and-sorcery, which was published in the State Bar's Arizona Attorney magazine.
Craig earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona, Summa Cum Laude, in 1992, and his juris doctorate degree (J.D.) from the University of Arizona College of Law, Magna Cum Laude, in 1995. He is a past member of the Law Review Editorial Board. His wife, Patti, is also an attorney; their two young sons keep them both quite busy.
