TUCSON - A fall cool down is on the way to southern Arizona.
High pressure holding on just to our south is keeping daytime highs slightly above average for the weekend, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. The good news is that our ridge is slowly breaking down and moving out here which means temperatures look a little nicer each day. Mostly sunny skies will accompanied with a forecast high of 93 on Saturday followed by 91 on Sunday.
The next big pattern change doesn't come until next week. A low pressure trough will work its way into the west coast by the middle of next week bringing cooler temperatures and gusty winds. Next Wednesday daytime highs come down into the mid 80s and continue to tumble from there rounding out next week in the low 80s.
