Cooler weather lingers for a while

TUCSON - Considering temperatures in the Tucson Metro area were in the 80s last week, it's no wonder why today's high of 58 degrees felt chilly.

A cooler air-mass will remain overhead for the next several days as we are getting our air from the Northwest. Highs on Wednesday will warm back up into the mid 60s which is still a few degrees cooler than average.

Our next weather maker should stay north of the region on Friday, and Southeastern Arizona will likely just see an increase in the wind.

Warmer weather arrives by Sunday with highs rebounding into the 70s under mostly sunny skies.
