Cooler temps and a chance of rain a day away

TUCSON - One more warm day before a break from the 90s.

Another warm and breezy day starts the weekend with highs topping 93 in Tucson. According to Meteorologist John Patrick, Sunday will bring a similar forecast adding partly cloudy skies to the low 90s and gusts up to 25mph.

A low pressure system developing off the California Coast will bring some changes starting late Sunday night. Enough moisture will be brought into Southern Arizona to support some isolated showers late Sunday night and into early Monday. Rainfall totals are expected to remain light with most areas seeing less than 0.10".

Also accompanied with this system is an extended stay with daytime highs below average. Throughout the upcoming work week temperatures will stay in the low to mid 80s. Check that out in your True View 4 forecast by clicking here. For an in depth look into the forecast click on John Patrick's Weather Blog.

It looks like we'll hold the triple digits off at least for another week so there is still time to enter our Ice Break contest. Tell us the time and date you think Tucson will hit that first 100 and win big! Get started by clicking here.
