Cool temps for Christmas and beyond

TUCSON - A cold front will bring cooler temperatures just in time for Christmas.

Daytime highs started to come down today ahead of a cold front moving through the region, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. Tucson topped out at 63 for Christmas Eve and will drop another five degrees by Christmas Day. Most of the precipitation has stayed in Northern Arizona with this system but some light showers could find their way down to a Catalina-Willcox line. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies expected for the remainder of your holiday with relatively light winds.

Another cold front moves through Arizona on Thursday keeping things cool through the end of the week. By Friday daytime highs will be in the mid 50s with lows getting close to the freezing mark for Tucson. Like the front moving through today most of the rain and snow will track to our north.

Warm and dryer going into the last weekend of 2012 as temperatures rebound into the 60s. For your full True View 4 Forecast head over to kvoa.com/weather.
