Convicted murderer dies while in custody at Arizona State Prison

FLORENCE - An inmate has died while in custody at the Arizona State Prison-Eyman.
29-year-old Timothy Ben died Monday from an apparent suicide.
Ben, sentenced out of Coconino County, was serving 20 years for 2nd degree murder and unlawful use of means of transportation. He returned to ADC custody on January 5, 2006 and was housed at ASPC-Eyman.
All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner's office.
