SEWER CONSTRUCTION WORK ON SPEEDWAY BOULEVARD
The Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department (PCRWRD) and its contractor will conduct sewer construction work on Speedway Boulevard from 3rd Avenue to Euclid Avenue on Thursday, June 21, 2012.
Lane restrictions will be in place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Motorists driving through the work zone may experience minor delays. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices.
MILLING AND REPAVING PROJECT ON MISSION ROAD: AJO WAY TO IRVINGTON ROAD
On Wednesday, June 13, 2012, between the hours of 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, KE & G Construction, began performing a milling and asphalt pavement treatment on Mission Road just south of Ajo Way to Irvington Road.
Effective today, traffic will be reduced to one lane for both northbound and southbound travel for paving activities. Lane restrictions will remain in place until Friday, June 22, 2012.
Pavement adjustments and striping will continue during the week of June 25, 2012, and the project is expected to be completed by June 29, 2012.
Motorists driving through the work zone area may experience minor delays. Flag personnel will direct traffic through the work zone area.
DOVE MOUNTAIN BOULEVARD WORK
Town contractors will be seal coating Dove Mountain Boulevard from Tangerine Road to the roundabout in front of the Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain on Wednesday. The work will last from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and involve intermittent single lane closures in both directions.
This will take five days and the work should be complete Monday. Crews will be off Sunday. After that, re-striping will take two days and could start as early as next Tuesday.
