TUCSON - The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona is expanding its "Hunger Walk 2013" to five locations on Saturday, September 28th.
The Amado Community Food Bank, Green Valley-Sahuarita Community Food Bank, Marana Community Food Bank and the Nogales Community Food Bank will join the main Food Bank in Tucson to make a difference in the fight against hunger in Southern Arizona with "Hunger Walk 2013."
New 4 Tucson anchor Tom McNamara will host the "Hunger Walk 2013" at Kino Sports Complex at North Grandstand at 9 a.m.
The second walk is in Amado at Sopori Elementary School at 5000 W. Arivaca Road. The walk begins at 9 a.m.
Another walk will be held in the Green Valley-Sahuarita area at Posada Java at La Posada. That walk begins at 8 a.m.
In Marana, a walk will be held at Crossroads Park at 7548 N. Silverbell Road starting at 8 a.m.
And in Nogales, "Hunger Walk" will be at Pierson Vocational High School starting at 5 p.m.
The "Hunger Walk" 2013 registration fee is $10.00 per person for adults, children under 12 are free.
