In this week's Restaurant Report Card, Fusion Wasabi on South Craycroft Road received four critical and two non-critical violations.

According to the Pima County Health Department report, fresh eggs were stored at 65 degrees. Proper storage is at 41 degrees. An employee was observed cracking an egg, removing his gloves, then grabbing a clean plate without washing his hands. Raw chicken was stored above an open container of teriyaki sauce and raw shrimp was stored above fresh vegetables. That needed to be switched.

Casa Sanchez on North Thornydale Road received four critical and seven non-critical violations.

Taquitos and cooked vegetables were sitting out above the required temperature. Employees were noticed leaving the establishment wearing gloves, returning, and continuing to cook while wearing the same gloves. Food contact utensils stored as clean were encrusted in food debris and some foods were not properly date-marked.
