TUCSON - Have you ever wanted to go into space? Now that dream could be a reality.
Governor Jan Brewer signed HB 2163: Limited Liability Wednesday, which provides a waiver of liability for passengers on a commercial space flight in the state of Arizona.
Paragon, a Tucson based company, is working with WorldView to build a capsule that would be attached a balloon. The capsule would be made out of aluminum and hold eight people.
Paragon is currently going through test flights and deciding what system will be used to operate the capsule. Once the capsule is good to go passengers will be in the air for about five hours.
It's expected people will be able to go up in space by 2016.
