TUCSON - Fall cold front bringing short-term cool to southern Arizona.
Tucson topped out with a daytime high of 71 this afternoon which was about 15 degrees below average and the coolest we've seen since April 10. As cool air settles in tonight some parts of the Old Pueblo may dip down into the upper 40s with even a few 30s possible in Cochise County.
According to Meteorologist John Patrick, the work week rounds out with a picture perfect day under sunny skies and a high of 77. Temperatures return to the mid to upper 80s by this weekend, right where they should be heading into mid October.
