TUCSON - A cold front will bring windy conditions and cooler temperatures to wrap up the weekend.
Daytime highs will struggle to reach the mid 50s in Tucson this afternoon in the wake of another cold front, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. Breezy to windy conditions will also accompany this system with gusts between 30-35mph in the Old Pueblo.
The strongest winds will be to the east of Tucson where a Wind Advisory is in effect from noon to 7pm this evening. Places like Douglas, Safford and Sierra Vista could see wind gusts approach 50mph. Winds will generally be out of the northwest this afternoon so be cautious of strong cross-winds along I-10, Hwy 191 and Hwy 90.
A light freeze will start the work week Monday morning but daytime highs rebound into the mid 60s by Tuesday under sunny skies. High pressure settles in by late in the week bringing the 70s back into the forecast. Check out your True View 4 extended forecast here.
