Coach Miller strives for bigger, better season this year

TUCSON - We're 94 days from the start of Arizona Basketball but there is still a lot going on with the Cats.

That game, by the way, will be Nov. 8 against CalPoly.

Coach Sean Miller announced Tuesday the latest additions to the team.

This includes Joseph Blair-- who was part of the 1994 Final Four team and played professionally for more than a decade. Blair will be joining the coaching staff as an assistant as he pursues a degree from the UA.

Miller also welcomed Chris Johnson to the roster. He is the older brother of guard Nick Johnson.

In addition to the personnel moves, Miller talked about how there is never really any down time for his team.

"Our guys have had a great summer and the process of winning, there is a lot that goes in to that. It doesn't start in October, it doesn't start when we play our first exhibition game, it began a long time ago, and I think we have done a good job in these long summer months to become better players, better team, a better program," Miller said.
