TUCSON - Above average temps despite increasing clouds.

Expect partly cloudy skies later this afternoon, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. This is in advance of a low pressure trough moving toward the state from Baja California. Highs today and tomorrow reach the upper 70's to low 80's across Tucson, which is 7-9 degree above average. Enough moisture may be in play for a few isolated showers along the New Mexico state line. The best chance of this will be late tonight through tomorrow afternoon and shoud not create any travel troubles.

Cloud cover clears out in time for Thanksgiving as high pressure regains control of our weather. Turkey Day features highs in the low 80's under sunny skies. Early bird shoppers on Black Friday can plan on low 50's for the morning hours, rebounding into the 80's once again during the afternoon.

A sneak peek at next week shows sings of a storm system bringing more cloud cover and cooler temps. For now, rain & mountain snow is not in the forecast, but a lot can change 7 days out.
