Clearing skies and warming temps

TUCSON - After a short break a string of 70s are back in the forecast.

The last 24 hours brought southern Arizona partly cloudy skies and even the first few sprinkles of 2014. Even with some leftover cloud cover Tucson topped out at 74° this afternoon, 8° above the normal high for late January.

Heading into Sunday it should be back to generally sunny skies and similar temperatures as we wake up in the low 40s and heat up into the 70s.

The upcoming work week will see little day to day change, however, heading into the first week of February we may finally see this persistent ridge of high pressure break down. We'll keep you posted with your True View 4 forecast.
