TUCSON - "The imposition of ashes," a centuries old tradition practiced by Catholics and Episcopalians on Ash Wednesday, has come to the streets.

What normally required a trip to a church, is now being delivered to the faithful at places like Starbucks, bus stops and college campuses.

St. Phillips in the Hills Epsicopal Parish is offering "Ashes to Go" Wednesday as a way to bring religion to those who wouldn't normally take the time to stop by at a church.

Here are a list of Tucson places participating:

• Starbucks - River and Campbell - 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
  
• Riverwalk near Trader Joe's - Campbell and River - 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
• Reid park in the morning
• YMCA Northwest at Shannon from 9 a.m. to noon
• Tohono Tadai bus station - Stone and Wetmore - noon to 4 p.m.
• Raging Sage coffee shop - Campbell and Grant - 2 to 4 p.m.
