TUCSON - Waking up to a chilly morning in southeast Arizona.
Morning lows are about 10° below average for this time of year in the upper 30°s and low 40°s for the Tucson metro area. Some locations, mainly in Cochise county, are waking up to below freezing temperatures. However, it should turn out to be a beautiful day with daytime highs peaking near the 70° mark for Tucson. The winds should be down around 10-20mph with generally sunny skies.
Get out and enjoy the below average temperatures while they last because a sharp rise is on the way for the workweek. Monday still looks good in the low 80°s but as a high pressure ridge builds in for the middle of the week the 90°s return and stick around right into next weekend.
