Children?s Dental Clinic offers free dental screenings for children

TUCSON - Children's Dental Clinic of Tucson will offer free dental screenings during "Healthy Smile, Happy Child Day" on February 12, 2010 at their location at 910 W. Irvington Road #180. The free screenings will be offered from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, and are part of an effort to raise awareness about the importance of a healthy smile during Children's Dental Health Month in February.

"Tooth decay remains the most common childhood disease," said Dr. Bridget Watts, a dentist at Children's Dental Clinic of Tucson. "Dental problems in young children can lead to a variety of health and developmental challenges including chronic pain, poor nutrition, distraction from learning and self-esteem issues that arise from having a less-than-perfect smile. Today, we are pleased to invite children and parents to our dental center to participate in free dental screenings to help ensure a healthy and happy smile for years to come."

Parents who are interested in scheduling an appointment for their child are encouraged to call (520) 806-0120.
