Children injured in Marana crash

MARANA, Ariz. - Several people were injured in an accident near the Marana Pumpkin Patch.

According to Northwest Fire Captain Adam Goldberg, a passenger car crashed into a semi hauling cattles.

It happened near Kirby Hughes Road and Wentz Road.

Goldberg says there were 5 people inside the passenger car.

Four people were injured, including two children with possible life threatening injuries.

The driver of the semi was not hurt.

The intersection has been closed.

Goldberg says the Marana Pumpkin Patch festival is open.

There will be people directing traffic near Kirby Hughes Road.
