TUCSON- Tucson Fire is reporting problems between cell phone callers and 9-1-1 dispatchers.
TFD Captain Chris Jurvig says dispatchers are able to hear the callers, but callers are hearing nothing, static on the line or another conversation on their end.
Jurvig says callers should use a land line if possible and give the description of the incident and location even if they can't hear the dispatcher.
9-1-1 dispatchers are able to call back callers without incident, so callers should answer for numbers they may not recognize.
Tucson Fire doesn't know how long the issue will continue.
